As a child I was always busy with a sewing project. My grandmother taught me embroidery, and I inherited sewing genes from my uncle and grandfather - both Saville Row tailors. After gaining City & Guilds and Diploma qualifications at fashion college, I worked as a pattern cutter for a lingerie company, and then for ‘Alexon’, gaining experience in top quality ladies wear.
After moving to Hastings and starting up my dressmaking business, I was soon contacted by a local bridal shop owner, Jane, who specialised in bespoke bridal wear. After 22 successful years of working together, Jane retired. I then spent a few years managing a bridal shop, before returning to my love and passion of creating bridal gowns from my home based studio.
